This pair had at least 5 recently fledged young. The male did 95% of the hunting whilst the female usually kept watch nearby. He would finish hunting at 8am and resume at 7pm.

Red Kites, Rutland

First three photos show an orange-tagged female chasing off a green-tagged male. At least 12 individual Kites visited this silage field as it was being cut.
