While sitting in the car waiting for a Barn Owl to return, this cock Pheasant suddenly appeared from the right like a missile. It flew over the car then across the paddock before banking briefly against the jet-black Hawthorn hedge. I had time to press the shutter once. Click on the pictures for a better view.
