A magical first 30 minutes of daylight produced a Muntjac with fawn, 2 Badgers, 2 Otters, Barn Owl and a Red Kite all from the same spot. The Otters were catching small Roach and Perch along the edge of the reed bed and also spent a lot of time playing. They were active until 08.45 and then reappeared again at 16.10 until dark. A Bittern roosted in the reeds above them as they played at 17.00.
