Mealy Redpoll, 29 Feb, RW

Still visiting the feeders sporadically with a few Lesser's. I am sometimes wary identifying the Mealies that look a bit browner than the classic frosty ones but the whitish head/face, breast and frosty white wing coverts edgings still ticks the boxes for me. The uppertail area has a light brown wash and the area between the tertials is white with heavy streaking. The Lesser's that are visiting are still buffy faced and with duller wing edgings.
