Rutland

2CY Glossy Ibis. Not the most charismatic of birds but quite entertaining when it sunbathed

2CY male White Wagtail, 14th May. Feeding among cows and sheep briefly.

A very impressive funnel cloud over Cottesmore.

Always nice to see Grey Partridges

Roe Deer. Still very elusive in Rutland despite being common a little further east.

Kent

A group of nine appeared after heavy overnight rain and spent much of the morning feeding along a farmland path. The males were giving sub-song from deep within hawthorn bushes.

Marsh Frog. Extremely common in farmland ditches.
