One of the highlights for me during the month was seeing the sparrow migration. I had no idea that they crossed the Strait but Fundacion Migres counted 7000? House Sparrows crossing last autumn. The Finches & Sparrows book (Helm) says that a post-breeding dispersal of juveniles can take place in some areas so i guess that explains it. It would be interesting to know how far they go into Morocco.
