Adult Peregrine, Senegal. Presumably a wintering calidus although it looked no different to one of our's.

African Hobby, juvenile. Light buff wash to underparts and underwing-coverts compared to juvenile Eurasian also perhaps a shade shorter winged.

Eurasian Hobby, juvenile. This bird flew low north along the beach near Kartong. Paler base colour to underparts and underwings compared to African Hobby. Narrower and longer wings maybe. According to books most Eurasian's winter South Africa but clearly some don't.
