Greater Spotted Eagle

Adult types

Immatures

Juveniles

fulvescens

Same as below

A juvenile with reduced spotting on upperwing and less white on uppertail. Typically dark bird above and below with GSE structure and reduced barring in remiges.

A more typical juvenile

A ginger juvenile

Adult showing the classic wing shape

An odd aquila that seemed to show intermediate features although it didn't come close enough for a proper examination. Presumably an immature based on the uneven trailing edge to wings and  uneven tail. The underwings and body were very dark but head small and wings not hugely broad.
