2nd cy female - 1 9 15. Retained juvenile outer primaries (two left wing and three right wing) and several juvenile secondaries. |
Nice barred axilliaries different to female Pallid's. The broad pale and dark bars in the secondaries also becoming visible and the dark trailing edge. |
A whiter background to underparts on this individual. |
Trailing edge hard to see in this photo and secondaries look dark like female Pallid. A 2nd cy female Pallid should be nearing finish of primary moult by now, earlier than Montagu's. |
Broad pale bar visible in left secondaries as for Montagu's. Also typical well barred axillaries. |
Clear dark trailing edge to wing and well barred axilliaries. |
