Eastern Imperial Eagles

Juvenile. 50 Imperial Eagles were counted during the season.

4-5CY. The dark trailing edge is visible on the inner primaries and dark feathering is appearing on the body/throat.

Juvenile - Close Imps in blue sky seemed to avoid me the whole season.

A complete mess. Either a juvenile or 2CY but difficult to see whether gaps are moult or just damage from a tank.

Juvenile - green colour ring on left leg and metal on right. I think it was traced to the Volga delta.

Adult. The only adult I saw migrating through Batumi. Most adults are sedentary and stay near their nest sites.
