Between the 6th-11th October i regularly checked the roosting terns and gulls at the Palmones River. Among the many Sandwich terns and Med Gulls i saw 5 different Lesser Crested Terns including several food-begging juveniles, one of which was colour-ringed. These post breeding dispersal birds are from breeding colonies in Libya.
